i just recently came across this video, it is john kerry speaking about john mccain interrupting his campaign some weeks ago to save negotiations about the bailout plan in washington d.c.; while watching it i just kept thinking "what a badass." it's really a shame he wasn't elected president. anyway, the point of the video is that while according to the mccain campaign, mccain rushed from new york to washington d.c. (which is a one-hour flight) but instead it took him twenty-two hours and on the way he had an interview with katie couric and gave a speech at the clinton millenium. kerry concludes by tactfully pointing out that when mccain finally got to washington d.c. it was apparent that he interrupted negotiations to save his campaign instead of interrupting his campaign to save negotiations.

Kerry can def. deliver the zingers. I think that his convention speech was one of the better ones for the Dems this year, yet no one noticed. I guess its once burned, twice shy. You have to wonder why he wasn't like this in 2004.
