obama skipping church

according to this article (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1108/15902.html), president-elect barack obama has not attented church since the election. i could not care less, i hate that this is being discussed, it is completely irrelevant. i say the more secular the better. people should be focusing on how he will fix out nation's problems instead of whether or not he wastes a few hours of his morning every sunday.

another bailout?

president bush and president-elect obama are scheduled to meet each other for the first time tomorrow to discuss such issues as the economy, the two wars in the middle east, and the energy crisis and to facilitate the transition of power. another issue that they plan to discuss is a possible $25 billion bailout of the auto industry including chrysler, ford, and general motors. is this really what it has come to, i understand that the auto industry in addition to other major industries are essential to the progress of our nation but how long will this go on. everytime a major industry begins to do poorly, the government will use taxpayer's money to bail them out. what kind of message does this send to the private sector and how healthy is this for our economy.

election day

election day, november 4th, a tuesday. it's nearly upon us. on this day the majority of the citizens in the united states will exercise one of their most significant rights attained when we were liberated from foreign rule, that is of course the right to vote. that being said, don't throw it away. there are two ways you can do this; one is to not vote at all and remain unheard and insignificant. the other and substantially worse way is to vote for a third party candidate. just don't do it, don't do it. they aren't going to win and they take away votes from candidates who actually have a legitimate shot. the weak must be allowed to die so the strong can flourish. don't throw away your vote.
